Orange Man is Back
a look at Trump's stuff during this time
This is not that much exciting, I know.
Big man with tiny hands is tied up in popular votes and has a slight lead in the “majority by states” thingie (I’m not American, and their way of choosing a president makes my neurons have headaches) from the latest polls. You don’t need astrology to say anything about this election.
And elections are a boring subject.
But I promised I’d write something about it, so here it goes.
My natal judgment of any period of time stems from the general judgment of the natal chart itself — which I am not going to do here — and from a progressive “scaling down” of techniques. I start with progressions and only then go to Solar (and Lunar, and maybe Derived Lunar) Returns.
Then, and only then, I might look at transits. Someday I might write about why I think it’s the right thing to do. And I won’t be looking at any of it in this post, either.
One thing I started doing recently is taking a brief look at the profections. They seem — at least that’s how I use them — to give a general direction, a “look over there, this seems important” kind of thing.
However, this one’s not very useful. This is a seventh-house profection, where everything “flips” 180 degrees. The only thing it tells is “this is an important year” (specially for him, because the flipping emphasizes his “natal eclipse” - his Sun/Moon opposition near the nodes), but we know that already.
Then, let’s check the progressions — what is happening between June 2024 and June 2025 for him.
A general NB: even in chart of people that run for presidencies, more than one important event may happen in one year. We tend to interpret every testimony within the framework of what we are investigating, but life’s not like that - from a disease to another child, from a car accident to winning the lottery, from divorcing to buying an TV network, many things may happen to him.
Another general NB: elections are not easy times. We should expect bad testimonies (at least a couple of oppositions).
Here’s his natal chart, with the Seven Key Arabian Parts painted on it.

These are the progressions for the year (don’t forget, this is just presented as a chart; it’s not a real chart). I marked the courses of Fortuna and the Moon from June 2024 to June 2025. The other points all move less than two degrees (and Venus and Jupiter do not conjunct during this period); don’t worry, I’ll tell you if they fall onto anything important.

The Ascendant does nothing (not even by Antiscion — it barely misses both the natal Ascendant, having hit it in the previous year, and natal Fortuna, which it will hit in the next); neither does the MC.
The Sun, Mars, and Venus are not doing anything, either. Mercury hits Natal Mars and Natal Part of Necessity right after the end of the period (it gets within minutes of them), which means we normally should at least take notice of that — but since the event we want to investigate happens in the middle of it, I won’t consider it.
But I must consider it being opposed by the Moon by antiscion, which is the only thing the Moon hits.
The Part of Fortune, however, does all sorts of things: it hits the Natal Eclipse by antiscion (Moon/South Node by conjunction, then Sun/North Node by opposition) and then opposed natal Mercury.
OK, Mercury emphasized twice — and the Eclipse. It seems, again, an important year — but it’s hard to pinpoint how. We already have the ambiguity inherent to elections — it’s a time for which we expect the winner to have hard aspects too, and the loser — especially if they profit somehow from the exposition, which is almost always the case — to show big career changes.
Let’s see if the Solar Return helps us.
I have painted both the Natal Arabian Parts and the Natal Arc ones.
It might seem confusing, but it’s not: the natal ones, which I tried to paint exactly on the circle, are at the same Zodiacal position as in the Natal Chart.
The Natal Arc ones, which I tried to paint a bit removed from the circle, are at the same Mundane position as in the Natal Chart (they all have the same distance from the Ascendants of the charts).

The first thing that catches the eye is Venus and Mercury conjunct the Sun. They’re also, by antiscion, conjunct Natal Mercury (which is not very relevant because anything conjunct the Sun in Solar Returns will be conjunct the Natal Sun, which is conjunct by antiscion Natal Mercury) and the Part of Necessity by Natal Arc — which is relevant.
Venus and Mercury rule the natal tenth and eleventh houses, which seem like two good things (and Mercury is emphasized in the progressions)… but they also rule houses 2 and 3 (natal chart) and 4, 5, and 12 (in the Solar Return).
The Natal part of Love, however, hits the Solar Return’s eleventh house by antiscion, which could help in pointing out this is an important house.
Solar Return Moon is conjunct Solar Return North Node, which is a good thing, as it rules the Return Ascendant. But they also oppose Natal Jupiter by antiscion, and Jup rules the tenth in the SR.
SR Mars - the ruler of the eleventh house in this chart — is conjunct Natal Mars and Natal part of Necessity by antiscion. This conjunction falls on the third house cusp of the SR, which doesn’t seem related to this event.
Solar Return Jupiter is conjunct Natal Venus by antiscion — both are, as I said, tenth-house rulers.
(Please pay no attention of all the colored dots around the Solar return Horizon just because they’re near the Ascendant and Descendant; they are the Solar parts of Love, Despair, Spirit, and Fortune, and will always be like that in all his returns — the only relevant one in this chart was already mentioned).
Natal Part of Victory (and, by Antiscion, natal part of Captivity) are conjunct the fourth house, although a bit too far. They might be emphasizing the fourth house (after all, the presidency is a fourth-house-type of profession) or opposing the tenth cusp. Or both.
And that’s about it.
A couple of testimonies emphazing the tenth and eleventh houses, some bad testimonies. If it was 2016, I’d expect more fireworks, but it’s going back to the old job for him. It’s enough for me to take a look at the Lunar returns for the election and the inauguration.
I know: a good look at the SR for the election would be enough, because if he’s elected, he will become president, and if he won’t, he won’t. But it won’t hurt.
Here it goes. I know it’s a bit boring to see all those dots, and in a chart like his, most of them might not matter (all those natal arcs floating on the horizon…), but it’s easier than to explain what they are all the time.

Hum…
Well, for those who are into it, Uranus is conjunct natal tenth house. The Part of Necessity by Solar Arc is exactly there, too. These things hit, by antiscion, the Lunar Return fourth-house cusp, while Lunar Return Mars hits Lunar return Ascendant
Venus, natal tenth ruler, is conjunct the Moon. It also rules the first, here.
Not everything is nice: Lunar Return Jupiter opposes this conjunction (and, therefore, conjuncts Natal Sun). He rules the eleventh house here, which makes it relevant, but with “tension”. But he being there means that the Lunar Return eleventh-house ruler is, by antiscion, conjunt the natal eleventh-house ruler, natal Mercury.
Speaking of Mercury… I know I said that those things floating on the Horizon are not always important, but this time they seem to be. Mercury is conjunct Natal Arc Spirit/Bravery, while natal Spirit and Bravery are conjunt the LR eleventh house, which Mercury rules in the natal chart. Mercury is automatically opposed Natal Arc Part of Love (because this part will always be opposed Spirit and Bravery) but non-automatically opposed natal Venus by antiscion.
LR Saturn, the ruler of the tenth house, receives a trine from the Sun and, more importantly, is conjunct Natal Jupiter by antiscion.
It looks nice enough.
I changed my mind, I don’t want to look at the Solar Return for the inauguration, but the Derived Lunar Return (The Lunar Return for the Solar Return) for the election.
No Arabian Parts, this time, this is already too long. Just a quick look.
This is the chart.

Mercury hits the Natal fourth house (pay no attention to the Zodiacal positions of Uranus; in fact, neither the ones of Jupiter and Saturn, this chart is too close in time to the radical Lunar Return we just saw).
The MC-IC axis, by antiscion, falls on the natal eclipse, with the IC picking up that Jupiter we spoke about in the previous chart (as I said above, Jupiter didn’t move significantly between charts — but it seems to be emphasized here by house cusp).
Mars opposes natal Venus.
The Moon opposes Saturn which is, as I said before, conjunct natal Jupiter. This conjunction’s anticion falls on the Descendant of the Derived return, although the Moon is a bit too far to be considered on the Ascendant by antiscion.
The Sun is opposed natal Mars by antiscion.
A bit less obvious, but there are testimonies of “importance” (the eclipse) and of tenth-house stuff.
It’s hard to decide whether fourth-house stuff are oppositions to the tenth, or “country matters”. But we don’t have — both are expected.

So… Trump’s definitely will win, right?
I wouldn’t be that sure. Although it seems likely.
These testimonies point out a great but troubled time for career. In the context, they point out in the direction of him winning.
But, as I said, in a way we know that it is a great but troubled time for his political career, and he may profit from “almost winning” — although in Trump’s specific case, it’s a bit less likely, because 1) he’s old enough to have a solid and long career as a politician, and most of the political advantages he could get he already did; 2) in his case, elections might be a financial problem, not an opportunity for gain; and 3) his non-political career is already good as it is (and all his issues with the law because of politics will not be erased by almost getting the elections).
And to be more sure I’d have to, at least, check Kamala Harris’s chart, which I won’t do by any means whatsoever (unless she phones me with a decent proposal involving a fat money transfer).
But, as far as I can see this is a “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss” election, and there’s a guy in India who’ll renew all his milk and honey offerings in front of Trump’s picture (I’m not joking, there is a man who worships Donald Trump in India, google it, he sings “Jay Trump” and all).

But isn’t horary more precise?
Yes, young Padawan, but for judging a chart I need a chart — and I never felt any strong urge to know about this result, I received no questions from a concerned client, and I haven’t seen anyone posting a chart about it. So… no shortcut this time.

And what about those people who say horary won’t work in elections?
I may write on small beasts and medical astrology one day again, but this is not the present subject.

That’s it for now. I look forward to not writing about Donald J Trump’s chart ever again. I hope you liked it, however.
Speaking of writing, the previous post (on Antiscion) was a suggestion from a reader/friend.
If there is something you’d like me to write about (except for the American Vice-President’s chart), I’ll do my best — as long as I know anything about the subject.
God bless you all, have a nice week.
